net-housting. This is my Website Host Company.
After the Update to [[Wordpress]] 3, i had Problems to reach the Backend (Admin Panel) of this Website. I got always the Same Error Message that there isn’t enough Memory available.
Today i wrote them a E Mail about the Problem and the Solution i found in the WordPress Support. 23 Minutes later i got a E Mail back and the Problem was solved. Awesome Work !!!
I wanted to give them some Credits. People always complain when they have Problems but they rarely say when a Company does something good.

One thing, i thought, i would miss while i’m in the US is my favorite Kind of Beer, Hefe Weizen. Well here is the Surprise. The Amercians can brew Hefe Weizen too.
And it tastes really good.

Ich muss die Welt mal an meinem grĂŒnen Daumen teilhaben lassen. Ich hatte bis jetzt schon ein paar Bonsai’s, habe es aber immer wieder geschafft sie ins grĂŒne Nirwana zu befördern. Dieser kleine tapfere Kerl hier lebt aber schon mindestens zwei Monate mit mir, was sehr rekordverdĂ€chtig ist.

Hier die Kritik: Frank Schirrmacher ist etwas ungenau mit dem Begriff des Prozessors und dem Begriff Informatiker aber sonst kann man zu diesem Buch nur eins sagen JA er hat recht.
Bei mir entwickelt sich auch schon seit lÀngerem der Eindruck das der Computer und das Internet als neues Kulturgut, den Menschen und das Denken des Menschen verÀndern wird. Das Buch bzw. der Buchdruck, und das damit einhergehende erlernen des Lesens hat es wahrscheinlich auch getan nur hat es damals keiner erforscht.

[[SETI]] feierte gestern seinen 50 jĂ€hriges JubilĂ€um. Telepolis hat einen Artikel dazu. Ich habe auch mal bei SETI mitgemacht. Ist alles sehr einfach. Man installiert eine Anwendung auf seinem PC, die lĂ€dt dann immer kleine Pakete der empfangenen Weltraumstrahlung herunter und analysiert sie. Da es tausende Leute gibt die dafĂŒr ihre Rechnerzeit zur VerfĂŒgung stellen konnte das SETI Projekt schon groĂe Fortschritte machen.

Nicholas Carr: The Big Switch (Rewiring the World from Edison to Google)
Ich wollte das Buch schon lĂ€nger lesen habe es aber nie geschafft es mir zu kaufen. Eines Tages stolperte ich in einen Ausverkauf in einem Buchladen und erstand das gute StĂŒck fĂŒr 2 Euro (zwar in englisch aber man ist ja flexibel). Die KurzeinschĂ€tzung: Lesebefehl fĂŒr alle die etwas mit dem Internet zu tun haben.
